JetBlue agrees new distribution deal with Sabre
US airline JetBlue has agreed a new contract with travel tech giant Sabre to continue offering its flights through Sabre’s GDS.
The deal also sees a “multi-year” renewal of Sabre’s Passenger Service System (PSS) agreement, which will help JetBlue to offer a “more tailored customer experience and capture additional revenue opportunities”.
Carol Clements, JetBlue’s chief digital and technology officer, said: “As we move forward with our growth plans, this partnership will play a key role in our digital modernisation strategy.
“We will continue to rely on Sabre’s technology to help us enhance the travel experience and bring our low fares, products and great service to more customers.”
JetBlue launched transatlantic services from London’s two largest airports, Heathrow and Gatwick, in 2021. The airline is due to start flights between New York and Paris in summer 2023.
The airline is also investing in Sabre’s Digital Connect APIs and Digital Experience e-commerce platform, as well as enhancing its loyalty capabilities through the Dynamic Rewards product.
