VAT reduced on aviation turbine fuel
Bhubeneswar: The government on Monday decided to reduce VAT on aviation turbine fuel (ATF) to one per cent in regional connectivity scheme (RCS)-based fixed wings flights, helicopters, seaplanes, at any airport, heliport, helipad and water aerodrome in Odisha.
Earlier, only one per cent of VAT on ATF was applicable in states four RCS airports– Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Jeypore and Utkela. Oil marketing companies based in these places were selling ATF at the reduced VAT.
